As I mentioned a few days ago beers made with pumpkin continue to be gaining in volume, and popularity. Count me as one of the reasons for the gain in volume as I enjoy the varieties of the different pumpkin beers. There is a nice article at the Chicago Tribune, with a great title…”Go for the Gourd”…hmmmm should there be a Gourd Medal for the best??? One of the comments in the article sums up very similar feelings for me:
“It’s a seasonal beer that makes me reminisce. I don’t know why it does, but I like it because of that.”
