In case you missed it yesterday, there is a story out of Canada about an Air Canada Jazz flight which made an unexpected landing to deal with some unruly passengers. It seems that there was a beer stolen from the inflight beverage cart. In an attempt to dispose of the evidence one of the suspects flushed the empty beer can down the toilet. The suspects, one of whom was arrested, had been drinking prior to the flight (gee, thats a surprise). No word on what brand of beer it was. Can’t wait for the airline to start putting signs in the lavatory which forbids the flushing of beer cans. Or maybe a new inflight intercom announcement…” The Captain has illuminated the no beer stealing sign”…..
