Happy New Beer

What happens when you combine New Years Eve, sixty or so of your closest friends, a remote bar, and a blizzard? Well 60 people in England found out recently. It seems that a blizzard closed the roads and trapped them in a bar for a couple of days.  Over the next few days the ‘prisoners’ managed to consume all of the beer kegs in the bar, with the exception of one.  I’m  interested in which beer they didn’t drink. That has got to be some pretty awful stuff.  On the other hand,  I think this story could be the start of a  great beer commercial.

Imagine the Beer Commercial (insert wavy dream like visual here):

Outside shot showing the bar covered in blowing snow.
Cut to a shot of a sign indicating the roads are closed due to the blizzard.
Cut to a shot of the bar patrons enjoying the beer inside the bar. The tap handles displaying the advertised beer as another beer is poured. Lots of laughter and general good times.
Next shot is  a snow plow pushing in close to the bar.
Next shot is a  rescue worker knocking on the closed bar door.
The door opens. The rescue worker proudly announces the road is back open.
The bar patron standing inside the open door looks at the cleared road, then back over their shoulder to the party inside and them slams the door closed.
Fade to black….
