On January 16, 1920 the dark clouds of Prohibition slid over the United States. I’m not sure I could have made it through the 13 years that it lasted.
Ninety years later beer drinkers have thousands of choices for their beer budget. And while we may complain about some of the beer available, just remember, at least we have beer.
So this Saturday, January 16, 2010, I will raise a bottle of beer and observe a moment of silence before prying off the bottle cap. Thank goodness for Beer Living in 2010.
