This past Saturday, Hoppygirl and I made a trip to Disney Hollywood Studios in Orlando. The purpose of our trip was to see the Osborne Christmas Lights. The official name is Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights, but I’ve never heard anyone call them that. While the lights were amazing (and truly a spectacle) I found something just as equally amazing. A beer list at a counter service restaurant that only offered Florida based beers. The beers: Cigar City Jai Alai, Cigar City Maduro (both by Cigar City Brewing), Orange Blossom Pilsner (by Orange Blossom Pilsner Brewing), Key West Sunset Ale (by Florida Beer Company), and Orlando Brewing Pale Ale (by, wait for it, Orlando Brewing). Not a mega brewer offering to be seen. This was at Min and Bill’s Dockside Diner. I want to compliment Disney on their beer selection choices. It is not something you usually see at theme parks. Both the dancing lights and the beer are highly recommended.
